Lakeside Explorer is a small boat operator on Lake Como. We run guided tours for a maximum of twelve guests, departing from Como every day except Monday and Wednesday.
What a day looks like
The boat leaves the pier at 9:15. The first hour is spent on the western shore, where the villas sit close to the water and the light is still soft. We stop at Villa Balbianello before the crowds arrive, then continue toward Bellagio for a long lunch break.
Afternoons are slower. We cross to the eastern shore, pass Varenna, and return to Como in time for the evening light. The whole day runs about eight hours, with roughly four of them on the water.
